R.E.A.L. Independent Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff are required to act in the best interests of our learners at all times, as described in our Safeguarding Policy which can be found in the policies section of the website.
We recognise our duty under the Education Act 2002 to make arrangements to ensure that functions are carried out with a view to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
It is the intention of the procedures within our policy to ensure that the appropriate action is taken immediately where it is believed a student may be at risk or it is alleged that a student is suspected of being abused.
The prime concern at all times must be the interests and safety of the student(s).
