Job Role: Mental Health & Wellbeing Lead

Contract: Term-time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £33,000 – £38,480 per annum

Your Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support our Learners by working closely with those who are affected by poor mental health and/or are at high risk of experiencing poor mental health by devising individualised interventions. This role will work closely with the Head of Behaviour & Attitudes to deliver sessions on a 1:1 basis with our Learners across all of our R.E.A.L. locations and take the lead on learner  mental health and wellbeing initiatives.

We Need

We need someone who has experience of working with children and young people delivering holistic interventions to support mental health and wellbeing, ideally in an educational or a health/social care setting. It is important that our successful candidate has the ability to be innovative, is resilient and can quickly adapt to our Learners’ needs. Our Learners need someone who can be empathetic, patient and has a passion for supporting them to develop to achieve their own positive outcomes. 

There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
