Your Purpose
We believe in re-thinking engagement and approaches to learning in order to support and maintain a high level of learner engagement through collaborative preparation and delivery of an innovative, creative and flexible curriculum. As a Teaching Assistant at R.E.A.L. Education you would be responsible for working with small groups and 1:1 learners either at one of our sites or in the community, delivering innovative and engaging sessions to young people who have SEN
requirements. During the hours of 9am until 3pm, you would be accountable four our Learners mental and physical wellbeing as well as health and safety, risk management and the safeguarding of our young people.
Job Role: Teaching Assistant
Contract: Term-time/Permanent/ 18 – 30 hours per week
Salary: £15,475.00 per annum (FTE – 30 hours per week, 39 weeks +annual leave)
Base: Nottingham City, Mansfield, Worksop, Ilkeston, Nanpantan & Hinckley
We Need
We need Teaching Assistants who either have a level 3 or relevant experience working with children and young people who have SEN needs such as ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities or experience anxiety and/or depression. Having experience in education would be highly advantageous but also recognise experience of other similar environments.
Our ideal candidates will be Teaching Assistants who have a can-do attitude, have intuitiveness and have a passion for wanting to support our learners in achieving not only their academic goals but their own personal development goals.
