Job Role: Site Lead Teacher

Contract: Term-time Permanent/ 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £33,000- £38,580

Your Purpose

At R.E.A.L. we have an exciting opportunity for a SEN specialist to join us as Site Lead Teacher at our Delta House Site in Mansfield to help implement an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for learners through individual and small group delivery.

Our Site Lead Teachers work on a specific site collaboratively and holistically to deliver an education provision which is unique to each learner that gives them the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

We Need

We need a member of staff who has the skills and experience to deliver to learners ranging form ages 7-19.  While the majority of learners are from KS3 upwards, an understanding of the primary phase is beneficial due to the nature of learner needs.  All of our learners have additional needs, so a passion and desire to work with learners with SEN is essential.  Applicants should have at least two years experience of working with children and young people or vulnerable adults within an education setting and be able to demonstrate experience of working with and developing effective resources for young people with additional needs.

There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
